Membership on MyFamilyRoots is free, and is available to anyone who has a connection to our extended family. Currently you would need to have a direct connection, or some kind of a connection by marriage, to our Dayman family tree. (We plan on adding other related branches of the family in the future. Please feel free to email our website administrator webadmin@myfamilyroots.ca if you'd like to find out more.)
This registration form is designed to collect enough information so that we can verify your relationship within the family tree. Please fill out the form as completely as possible. Some fields are required, and some are optional, but the more information you provide, the easier it will be for our site moderators to verify your eligibility. Of course we will keep your profile information confidential - we're interested in connecting with family members, but we understand and share your expectation of privacy. Specifically, we will not provide your contact or family information to anyone outside this site. When we do share information with other family history researchers, we always protect the information of our family members by not sharing any details on living persons. These are the standards of privacy that we have set out for MyFamilyRoots and we expect all website members to follow the same guidelines.
